This no yeast pizza base is super easy to make, and you can top it with an array of ingredients to sit any taste!

For the dough:
- 1 1/2cups all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp olive oil (or any other oil)
- 1/2 cup water (cold tap water)

Mix all your dry ingredients together, then add in your wet ingredients and mix into a dough. Kneed this for 5 minutes, it won’t be completely smooth but it doesn’t need to be. I had to leave ours to rest as I wasn’t ready to use it, you don’t need to do this but it will get a little bigger if you do. Make sure you oil the outside of the dough and your bowl if you need to put it aside, and cover.
You don’t need to let this dough rest, roll it out to the desired thickness (I rolled it to around 5 mm for a thicker crust but thinner would be crispier and less doughy!
Top with your sauce, for ours I tried 4 different toppings, you don’t need to be this adventurous but I’ll write a recipe for each topping I did in a future post!

Add a layer of vegan cheese, we use bio cheese as it melts with residual heat very well (heat from the base and the toppings will make it super melty) then your toppings, veggies, mock meats etc) then another layer of cheese. We top with Sheese shreds as this gives a super silky melt inside but crisps on top in the oven like a really nice cheese on toast!

Place in the oven, ours was thick base and very topping heavy so we did 180 for 30 minutes. If your base is thin and toppings more sparing, do 180 or 190 for around 20 minutes. All ovens vary so just keep an eye on it!

This pizza base is so easy and quick to make, honestly the most effort you need to put into this is deciding on your toppings! As you can tell I’m super indecisive and I was feeling particularly creative that day so I went with four different flavours, however if can be as simple or as complex as your feeling!
The crust was moist, thick and very comforting, really filling and super delicious. Next time I’m going to try a thinner base to see how it crisps up!

If you enjoyed this recipe, let me know if you try it out, and how it went! I will be uploading a recipe for all the ingredients I used per pizza if you spotted one you fancy trying.
